Our ancestors have been cherishing the Vedas and imparting them to their disciples lakhs of lakh years without the aid of any of the modern gadgets technology and not evening with the help of the scribblings on the palm leaves but just by keeping every accent in their astute memory and by piously chanting them flawlessly and passing them to the succeeding generations without any interruption and keeping them alive vibrantly till days. That is why the Vedhas are known as SHRUTI.
With the great efforts put in by the Nityaagni Hotri somayaji , vajapeyayaji Sirugamani Sri Padmanabha Acharya’s who had been blessed By the Beingn Grace of Sri HariVayu Gurus, Sri JayaTheertha, Sri VyasarajaTheertha, Sri RaghavendraTheertha, Sri RaghoottamaTheertha and all peetadhipatis, Acharyas the Vedas began to sprout again.
Pujya Sri PadmanabhaAcharya who was an eminent scholar in the vedas and the Dwaitha Philoshopy. Taught the Vedas to his three children and more than 70 students in a very difficult time and nurtured this Vedic dharma to reach the dazzling heights, in general and Madhwa Samaja in particular.
We had the privilege of learning the Vedas from his second son Sirugamani Nityagni Hotri Pujya shri Swargiya Parashuramacharya, his noble virtues were very admirable.
Our Guruji Sirugamani Nityagni Hotri Pujyasree Swargiya Parashuramacharya was very kind like a mother in all living things. And he lived many days in the cowshed for cow’s delivery. After enduring all the hardships of the cow’s delivery period such as mosquito bites and insect infestations and without sleep and watch the labor pain symptoms of the cows and did the delivery of cows. and he behaves very cautiously so that even his small actions do not cause emotional distress to others.
He treated all the people , be it either an auto driver, A vegetable vendor and workers of all walks of life with due respect andhe would never called them by his professional name like Auto Man. He advised all his disciples if they addressed such people by their professional names it would hurt them. It is human nature to kill a mosquito when it bite us our Guru was bitten by a large number of mosquitoes many times but he never tried to killed them even once it is just a small example of his grace and tolerance to the highest order.
Exemplary Honesty.
Whenever the well wishers who visited the gurukulam and donated money for a particular cause, he would keep the funds separately for the purpose for which had been given. He moulded our thoughts on the right path from our young age when we were taught the Vedas by him. He instilled in us the lofty ideals of humanity and love for all. He emphasized the need to follow these principles of righteousness and justice, to the highest order and made us scholars in vedic doctrine.
The welfare of the world will come only through Veda SastraRakshana. Our guruji made us feel that it is our prime duty to protect the vedas and shastras by learning them earnestly. He used to say, “If you could create a new generation who are all well versed in the Vedas and Shastras. in the years to come that could be the greatest debt of gratitude you owe to me”
By the divine Blessings of Sri HarivayuGurugalu, and by the blessings of our Guruji we established our Sri Trayee Vidya Gurukulam which was inaugurated by our Guruji himself in the year 22/04/2009.
Our second new branch was inaugurated in Chennai on 10/06/2012 by His Holiness Sri Sri 1008 VidyeshaTheertha Swamiji of Sri Bandarikere Matha.
We are glad to inform the Endering well wishers like you that we are going setup the third branch of our Sri Trayee Vidya Gurukulam at Srirangapatanam, (Mysore. Karnataka), with all your benign blessings.
At present a total number of 80 students are studying Veda and Shastras in Srirangam and Chennai. 18 teachers comprising Rigveda Ghanapatis, Yajur Veda Ghanapatis, Sudha Pandits, NyayaVidwans, Vyakarana Pandits, Mimamsa Vidwans and school teachers are serving in both branches.
We teach Ghanapata, Nyaya or Vyakarana or Mimamsa Shastra to our students in general besides DwaithaVedantha in particular. We teach school education also to the students to the best of their understanding.
Reciting the vedas by heart (Kantastha) is a tough task. However by Grace of the Almighty God we have produced more than 50 students as Vedic scholars who can recite the Vedas by heart (Kantastha).
We are trying to bring up all the students in this Gurukula with highest virtues as emphasized by Guruji Pujya Sri Sirugamani Parashuramacharya who trained us with uncompromising efforts to achieve our genuine desires.
Most importantly, we also plan to provide lifelong financial support to our students evenafter completing their studies in this Gurukulam. Thus, they can teach both Shastra and Vedas, leading a peaceful life in a dignified manner and continue to expand their knowledge of our sanathana dharma to the highest degree.
Our students who have completed their studies in our gurukula are currently serving as teachers not only in our Gurukulam, but also in other Vidya Peetams like in Sode BhaviSameera Gurukulam, Bangalore Poorna Pragnya Vidyapeetam , Palimaru Sri Yoga Deepika Gurukulam.
Our Sri TrayeeVidya Gurukulam has been doing well for the past 15 years, By the blessings of Vedas, Shastras and Vedantha gurus who taught us the Unblemished VedaShastra. We are sanguine that we will be able to keep up the glorious tradition.
